Creating subsidiary called ClipoftheDay.com

November 30, 2024 by admin Leave a Comment

I went live with a new web project in November of 2024 past. There is a post that month of my oldest daughter Maggie and me from “My Birthday Walk” you will enjoy.

I turned 52 this week and I am now a firm believer that “you are never too old to follow your dreams” or anything that brings you joy. The website is linked below. All you need to do is click on the logo.

I’ve had the Twitter (X.com) ID and YouTube channel and many other web products with the name ClipoftheDay since March 2007.  I recently bought the domain from a good friend (Eddy) & past business partner—from when we worked together at Yahoo.com—and felt driven to make the website about me and my family.

Eddy was instrumental in helping me start Streamworks Media, LLC. back in 2008 as a backup plan to my main source of income. I became a GoDaddy reseller for domains and webhosting products underneath Eddy’s company, SangFroidWebDesign, please feel free to click on the link and expore his website services and hosting packages. Being prepared with Streamworks Media, LLC. helped me immensely during the economic downturn of 2008.

Eddy’s company in Alpharetta, GA.

Eddy and I would brainstorm about new business ideas while eating our oatmeal every morning. He mentioned he owned the domain, and we had the idea to do something together. As always with life, things happen and we lost touch on the project due to layoffs at Yahoo! and other family emergencies. Recently, Eddy reached out to me and wanted to see if I still had any interest to buy the domain. I thought about it, but passed. It didn’t crop up again for a month or two until I received a killer coupon from SmugMug.com. I took this opportunity to buy a new mug with the logo I created back in 2014 or 2015 for my YouTube channel.

The coffee cup that started it all!

Long story short, when the mug came in the mail. I decided to look into buying the domain again. I reached out to Eddy, who was slammed at work, and he didn’t respond to my text messages due to that fact. I couldn’t wait anymore, as being surprised, that the domain was still for sale. I filled out a form on the website, and in minutes a rep from GoDaddy called, and Boom! it was mine. Another stepping stone on my walk down the road, my journey of life.

All of the events in my life have led up to this moment (yeah dude, that’s how life works) and I had an epiphany. My kids and family are most the important part of my life, hence, ClipoftheDay.com, concept was born.

January 17, 2018 by admin Leave a Comment

Streamworks Media worked hand in hand with their founder Bianca Capo to create a revolutionary website for women to find empowering information.

The Strengthen-HER Well–BEING Essentials ®

A whole person approach to creating the right conditions for HER to flourish from the inside out.

We want to be a “refueling station” for women on a journey determined to live a life with impact, meaning, and purpose. We have the building “rocks,” via The Strengthen-HER Well–BEING Essentials® that strengthen, evolve, and enable women to step into their power propelled with renewed health and well-being.

Bianca Capo, Founder of Strengthen-HER

Our courses, workshops, and retreats facilitate a deeper self-awareness, as well as practical and applicable ways to strengthen HER

Talents | Careers | Relationships | Health | Finances
In “Well-Being: The Five Essential Elements” by Tom Rath and Jim Harter define well-being this way,

Well-being is about the combination of our love for what we do each day, the quality of our relationships, the security of our finances, the vibrancy of our physical health, and the pride we take in what we have contributed to our communities. Most importantly, it’s about how these five elements interact. In fact, focusing on any of these elements in isolation could drive us to feelings of frustration and even failure.”

Qemsinc.com – Server Migration

February 3, 2015 by admin Leave a Comment

Streamworks Media was very successful at migrating all of QEMS’s website from a previous developers server to their new account purchased through our web store.  QEMS, Inc. is a new client for Streamworks Media and they brought a unique problem for us to solve. A previous development company had put their website’s data and database on their own server and then became unreachable by any means by QEMS. The other web firm’s lead developer left the state and it was up to us to solve a very important problem.

QEMS, Inc. owned their own domain and only had control over the DNS entries. We worked together with their IT department to point the DNS back to the other company’s server and using proprietary techniques we were able to extract the website and migrate it to a new server owned by QEMS, Inc. To clarify, there was not any FTP access to the server, only web access to administration pages.

This unique situation involved advanced problem solving skills and involved creating solutions to help our new client “out of the fire”.

Hannah Jane Writes – I am HannaH Jane…Let me tell you a story.

July 3, 2013 by admin Leave a Comment

North Carolina native writer HannaH Jane began scribbling stories at 8 years old and never stopped. To improve her scribbling, she received a Master’s of Arts in English with an emphasis in Children’s Literature from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. In both fiction and film, HannaH Jane tells compelling stories about young people finding their identity and their place in the world.
HannaH is particularly interested in how stories both change and remain the same. She has dedicated much of her study to ferreting out these characteristics and what makes writing particularly memorable.

When not writing, reading, or telling stories through film, she skateboards, shapes iron, and does Muay Thai Kickboxing.

Cooter Douglas – Everybody loves a little Cooter

July 3, 2013 by admin Leave a Comment

Cooter Douglas started his comedy career by winning the Open Mic at The Comedy Cabana in 2007 and has been making people laugh ever since. He grew up in Charlotte, North Carolina (when it was a small town) and now lives in North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina   His comedy looks at life and current events from a very Southern perspective, with a twang. His life lessons come from being a bartender, rugby player, electrician, and his current job as an assistant weed eater for the city. He has developed his humor through his occupational deficiencies!   He has been on the radio as “The Mike Beach and Cooter Show” in the 90’s (Greenville, South Carolina), and still does commentaries and spots on several stations today. Catch him at a comedy club near you. Like the old saying goes “Everybody Loves a Little Cooter”.

Cindy’s Hope Chest – Helping Women Survive Breast Cancer

July 3, 2013 by admin 1 Comment

In the blink of an eye, my entire life was changed. August 2008, I was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer. Being a wife of an active duty Soldier and raising three beautiful daughters, life went from being simple to uncertain. After successfully completing chemotherapy, double mastectomy, and radiation, my passion is to help others. I am a follower of God and a daughter, sister, wife, and mother and now I can proudly say a SURVIVOR!

Cindy and her team of volunteers enjoy making women as comfortable as possible during the treatment process necessary to fight breast cancer. Cindy’s vision is to assist and be there for as many women as she and her team can each and every day. Cindy does this locally and also makes women feel better and have hope all over the country. Sometimes all it takes is a conversation and discussing your fears and expectations to feel better. A basket filled with goodies that will help these women along the way is also encouraging. While Cindy went thru treatments, she had supporters that rooted her on along the way. Sometimes these supporters were total strangers. Cindy remembers these kind and generous people and wants to pay it forward to others in need. The treatments are difficult and hard on your body; Cindy remembers. She has been there and understands the fears and uncertainties. Please allow Cindy’s Hope Chest to comfort you along your journey that so many walk each day! Please send your friends and loved ones to Cindy’s Hope Chest that are in need of caring people that want to help these women along the road. If you are not affected by this disease then jump on board and help Cindy’s Hope Chest brighten the days of so many in need!
